30day Challenge - Day 4

"Your favorite photograph of your best friend."

Uunahin ko ang bestfriend ko since highschool.. her name is Janice Punzalan a.k.a Ice a.k.a MrHeadache..

Actually, hindi ito ang favorite photo ko ni Ice, my favorite photo of her is printed out and she's on top of some rocks by the shore at long hair pa sya non, eh I don't have a scanner (loser) so yan na muna. I picked this photo of her kasi it perfectly epitomizes how crazy she is. Ganyan sya pag normal... hahaha. 

We met when we were in 2nd year highschool and she was not the most wacky person you'll meet at that time. She was a nerd (like me) and she was always hanging out at our computer lab with our computer teacher... weirdo! hahaha.. The story of our friendship didn't start nice. Itinuro nya ba naman akong mastermind sa pagpatid sa isa naming classmate that caused her knee cap to dislocate... lokong yan eh. You see, there are 2 Carmi's in our class (and barkada) and the other Carmi was the real mastermind of that horrific incident. Eh absent kasi ko nung pinatawag kami sa principals office kaya ako ang naituro nya. Kaya napaginitan ako nung highschool ng mga upper class nerds na barkada nung napatid.. bwisit yan.

Then nung 3rd year kami naging classmate ko ulit si Ice at natanggal kami pareho sa star section.. lahat ng barkada namin sa class na yun eh nawala sa star section thanks to that other Carmi na barkada parin namin ngayon.. hehehehe.

Eversince then hindi na kami mapaghiwalay ni Ice. Sya ang takbuhan ko ng lahat, super galing nya kasi magadvise at lagi syang makikinig sayo. At dahil quiet sya, you can trust her with your deepest darkest secret :). 

I remember the time na nagconfess sya sakin through mail na she has moved to the other side.. meaning di pala sya babae, sya pala ay pusong lalake. Umpisa ng letter na yun eh "Dab, wag kang magagalit" para bang takot na takot sya sabihin eh highschool pa lang alam ko na ang lihis ng bituka nya. Pero nagtataka rin ako noon kung baket ang gagwapo ng boyprens nya mula nung mag-collage kami. Pero I guess that was just caused by peer pressure kasi lahat ng babae sa barkada eh may jowa or crush na lalake.. pinigil nya magpakalalake kasi baka ma-weirduhan kami. Pero ngayon ayos na ayos na kami, pero di naten maiiwasan na sya ang topic ng tuksuhan kasi she likes talaba over hotdogs.. eh gago kaming lahat na babae sa barkada kaya yan... laging napupunta jan ang tuksuhan lalo na pag lasing na kami.

I miss you Ice.. bat naman kasi nagcall center ka sa Tarlac pa baliw! Paguwi mo ulit ng Bulacan puntahan mo ko agad. Bum na ko kaya lagi nandito lang ako sa baler namin okey??

This was taken when we were in 3rd year college back in AdU with my 6110 phone. Mukha pa kaming virgin dito pero bangag na kami nyan kakagawa ng thesis namin.. hahaha.

I consider her my bff kasi lahat na ata ng drama ko sa buhay since college eh nasabi ko na sa kanya, at tulad ni Ice super galing nyan mag advise. She was the 2nd person who knew about my pregnancy (next to my hubby) and she was the one who encouraged me to create a blog. So kasalanan nya lahat ng katarantaduhan ko sa blog na itey.. hahaha.

I sooo love Anne and her funny jokes and facial expressions. I don't have any sad memories with her kasi nga makulit tong taong toh. We both love eating and romantic nothings kaya minsan muntik na kaming mag business ng cakes kasi magaling sya gumawa ng no-bake cakes eh kasi najontis nga ko kaya di na namin naituloy.

Ka-email-chat ko rin sya when I was still working, everytime my boss looks at my inbox eh flooded ng mga message ni Tutai. One time, I forwarded a message to my boss eh naka thread si Anne and her e-mail addy is 'annebu'.. my boss sent me an IM asking... "You know familiar sakin tong Annebu.. is she from convergys?" natawa ko at sabi ko.. "hindi, yan ung laging nageemail sakin na nakikita mo sa inbox ko nung magkatabi pa tayo", si boss: "Ay oo nga .. now I remember" hahahaha... talamak ang spamming namin noon kaya mamimiss nya ko ngayong bum na ko.. hehehe.

Hey Dude.. thank you sa pagpunta nyo ni Ton kahapon. Pasensya na at may topak si Sofie.. di bale next time mas marami na syang tricks na gagawin hehehe..
