Witty Kid is Witty

So Sofie is about 2 and a half years old. She's not potty trained yet (she hates her potty) and doesn't talk in complete sentences yet. But I'm proud to say that she speaks her short words in English and a little tagalog... letting her watch Disney Junior and nickelodeon paid off! (not good parenting! hehehe)

Everytime she sees Dora, she points her out and shouts.. "Boots!" maybe she thinks Dora looks like a monkey.. i dunno.. hehehe. But now she's learning to distinguish the two, she now calls the monkey Boots and Dora as "Duuura" hahaha bisaya?

She also adapted some of Dora's lines like: "There you are" "You did it" and "Turn Turn Turn"

Like when she saw the strings that our neighbor use to tie up his "pansabong na manok" at our "eskinita" without the roosters... she points to the strings and asked "Wheres cha chicken?". She actually looked around and saw the roosters in their cage then she pointed at them and shouted.. "There you are!" Tawa na lang kami ng tawa...

Also, she knows almost all the characters in Disney Junior and Nick. Just the other day, my brother drew something like this on her drawing board :

Then he asked:  "Who's this Sofie?"

Sofie: (in angry voice) NO!

Then she took the pen and added this on the drawing: 

Then she said: "Babob" (Spongebob)

My mom also tried to draw a star but it kinda looks like a drunk drew it, so it came out looking like this:

Sofie looked at the drawing and said... habang umiiling... "Dash not a Shtaarr" (That's not a star) Bwahahahahhahaa... tumambling kami lahat sa kakatawa... 

She actually does a lot of cute and witty things that I don't have any clue where she gets it. But I have rules in the house whenever the older kids are around her.. major ones are:

1. No tagalog series, cartoons, news, movies, etc on the TV

2. Ask her questions in English

3. No profanity

4. No shouting at her

Marami pa yan, and I'm glad my brothers and husband cooperate. Hehehehe.

I'm actually scared that she's growing up so fast... gusto ko baby na lang sya forever and ever :-P I'm also scared that she'll be sooo smart too fast that I wouldn't be able to keep up... pero... oh well that's life. I just hope she'll continue to grow as a smart girl and skinny.. hahahaha. Sana pumayat ka na baby taba :)
